GM Crops Produce Less
A 3 year study carried out by the University of Kansas into the productivity levels of genetically modified crops claims that the crops produce on average 10% less then their natural counterparts.
The study was launched according to Professor Barney Gordon, when farmers using the crops "noticed that yields are not as high as expected even under optimal conditions".
The director of the study when asked if GM foods would solve world hunger answered “The simple answer is no.”
