Ukraine, Russia lift disagreements in gas deal - Timoshenko

KIEV, April 9 (Itar-Tass) -- Ukraine and Russia lifted all disagreements in the treaty on the development of relations in the gas industry Naftogaz Ukrainy and Gazprom signed on March 12, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko told a press briefing on Wednesday.

“I can inform you that in the negotiating process we lifted all concerns the government had regarding the signed agreements,” she said.

The premier recalled that is a clear-cut condition for Gazprom to sell 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas on the Ukrainian market in 2008. The agreement earlier envisaged Gazprom would sell at least 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas for the period, which was not set clearly.
