Central Bank revokes licenses from Krasbank, Kredisoyuzkombank

MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) - The Central Bank of Russia (CBR) on Thursday revoked the licenses of Moscow-based Krasbank and Kreditsoyuzkombank, and appointed an interim administrations there, PRIME-TASS reported quoting the CBR public relations department. The licenses have been revoked in connection with the banks' non-compliance with federal laws regulating banking, and CBR regulatory enactments, as well as the law on counteracting money laundering and the funding of terrorism.

The CBR accused Krasbank and Kreditsoyuzkombank of the failure to meet the deadlines for forwarding the statements on transactions subject to mandatory control, and carry through a number of CBR instructions.

Kreditsoyuzkombank is a participant in the national deposit insurance system. The revocation of license is an insurance event, envisioned by the federal law.
