Mittal in talks on Bulgarian mill

ArcelorMittal, the world’s biggest steelmaker, is discussing acquiring Kremikovtzi, an ailing steel mill in Bulgaria, in a deal that could reach $1bn.
Adding a family twist to the talks, Kremikovtzi is owned by Global Steel, an India-based company controlled by the two younger brothers and father of Lakshmi Mittal, ArcelorMittal’s chief executive and main owner.
